101 Things You Need To Know

My sister borrowed this from her sch library and I found it very interesting! It coincidently covers the topics that I talked with my schoolmates today, like time travel, alien, light year, Pyramids, Bermuda Triangle...For those who are "science idiot" and lack of common sense, like me, it's really a nice book! Highly recommend!

- When we look at the stars from Earth we see it 4.3 years in the past.

- If aliens are out there, they must be further away than the 40,000 light years that have been examined by the SEFI(Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) so far.

-A light year is a measurement of distance, not time.

...Go and flipflop it!

UNREALISTIC ME

Midnight
Not a sound from the pavement
Has the moon lost her memory
She is smiling alone
In the lamplight the withered leaves collect at my feet
And the wind begins to moan

Memory
All alone in the moonlight
I can smile at the old days
It was beautiful then
I remember the time I knew what happiness was
Let the memory live again

Daylight
I must wait for the sunrise
I must think of a new life
And I mustn't give in
When the dawn comes tonight will be a memory too
And the new day will begin
Burnt out ends of smokey days
The stale cold smell of morning
The streetlamp dies
Another night is over
Another day is dawning

Touch me
It's so easy to leave me
All alone with the memory
Of my day in the sun
If you touch me you'll understand what happiness is
Look a new day has begun

Memory
All alone in the moonlight
I can smile at the old days
It was beautiful then
I remember the time I knew what happiness was
Let the memory live again

Peter Pan、Polar Express、Charlie and the Chocolate Factory。

French May的《The Seven Boards of Skill》給我一次很棒的經驗。
